This cake was delicious and had a good amount of fruit and nuts. I didn't taste the whiskey as much as I expected but still enjoyed it. We had half on Christmas and half on New Year and it made a nice little desert after a somewhat large meal. However, for the price it seems like it could have been bigger.

We bought this wee dense cake for Thanksgiving, as a substitute for our traditional pumpkin pie & cream, and did it ever exceed expectations! Loaded with twelve-year-old aged Glenfiddich Scottish malt whiskey; the infused, candied fruit and nuts and rich, moist cake take any traditional fruit cake to the next level. This little dessert is truly the yummiest. I suggest buying at least two if you plan to serve eight people as one cake realistically serves four @3.5 oz each, even though the serving suggestion is ten @1.4 ish oz servings per slice.
