Best British Fruit cake commercially available.

Splendid dark fruit cake with traditional rich iced marzipan. Not too sweet and very satisfying and healthy.
It is very inexpensive when one compared with the cost of making one's own, four times as much for the ingredients alone
This is a family tradition for afternoon tea, birthdays and any festive occasion.
Thank you, Walkers of Abelour, Scotland, for keeping this available.

WAY TOO SMALL for the price

too small - they should tell people that its the size of a muffin not a cake The box is 4 1/2 inches and the muffin is smaller than that. Its a very expensive muffin

This cake can sometimes taste wonderful - and sometimes dry and bitter. When its good, its very very good - moist and flavorful. However the marzipan icing makes up for it - nice and thick
Cool, dry place?

Package says to store in a cool, dry place. If you don't live in an area that's in the sixties when you order this, I'd pass on it for health reasons. The icing and marzipan were melted. Perhaps shipping it in a box instead of an envelope would have helped.

Very dense, so cake that I ordered for St Paddy's desert treat for 6 became itty bitty pieces...the cake was what I'd describe as 'muffin' sized. Delicious, but small.
