easy to install. I did it myself. Probably better if you have a little bit of plumbing experience. I ended up removing the old mixing value completely. that gave me enough room to get the fittings secured to the stud. I am sure I over engineered it. The wife likes it so much she wants one in the master bathroom.

I DID COME UP WITH THIS EXTRA PART. I THINK IT IS TO THE SPRAYER BUT I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW IT GOES IN THERE.

We purchased two of these for our over-sized master shower. The looks set off the the tone but it is where the functionality comes in that makes it rock. The controls are easy to use like the selector has a "click" like snap in feel so you know when it is aligned right. The mounting was easy too. (now I planed to use these from the start so my plumbing in the wall aligned just right). My wife loves hers, she has long, long, long hair and only washes it every other day. When she showers on the other days she can use the front sprayer/massage-rs or the spray head as it sits in the holder and not worry about getting her hair wet. The temp gauge is nice too, I don't use it much but it is fun to tinker with just to see what the water temp is. I would buy this again. We have had the two units functional for 1 1/2 years with my wife and I and 4 of our little kids using them. No problems.
UPDATE 9/30/2020 STILL ROCKIN! This is the best shower panel out there! No problems what so ever with either of the 2 units. If they had 10 stars here I would give it. I looked at some of the reviews that showed rust on some of the parts... Where do you live? and what the *%$%&? is in your water?... because mine look perfect after 8 full years of high use.

We ordered these based on the reviews. When the first one arrived, we could not believe how good looking, rugged, heavy, and well-designed it was. Then, once hooked up, super premium flow in use.

One of big complaints of rain showers is that they tend to spray all over. Unless you are 4 feet wide, it is a waste of water. The flow on this is superb; all nice streams all straight, so the water all hits you.

We especially like the temp feature, very nice.

Most important is the feel of the knob. It turns easily and feels very high quality. You get a rush of cold water when you do (as one might expect,) especially on the body jets, but there's no way around that.

Everyone LOVED the first one, so we ordered another. The Silver has a sort-of mirror that would work well for in-shower shaving. The Black looks / works great as well.

This was part of a remod with new stone & tile, so we went ahead and tore out all the traditional plumbing, as we're sold on these integrated units for the long term. These just makes sense as a better shower/bath design strategy.

Makes us love Amazon Prime, to be able to get these high-end units at such a low price. 6 stars!

My husband had a bit of work to customize the wall for the panel but that was because of the last installation. It seems to work great and has lots of options. The only thing was I had to ask online how to change the temp setting from Centigrade to Fahrenheit. Well, we have to uninstall it to change it because it's in the back, more or less permanent once set. But for now I know if I want a good warm shower to get it to 40°C. The one thing I'm worried about is the selector knob that turns to the different functions is plastic behind the panel. Our first one lasted a pretty long time but gave up so we had to throw the whole panel away which functioned perfectly but for that part that they had no replacement for.
