I checked the manufacturers size guide before ordering. My daughter wears toddler size 6 in regular store shoes and has a normal foot width. I ordered her size 7D (wide)and they fit perfect. I ordered wide as these can be sinched in by the elastic bow at the front. The wide fits her like a dream so I'm glad I didn't get the regular fit.

Much better quality and fit than the ones we tried on at Target and Payless. Very happy with them. My daughter wears 12-13 depending on the brand of shoes (we ended up buying tap shoes in size 12 1/2 at Payless). Bought size 13 and they fit great with room to spare (but not too much). The little bow at the front is functional, it allows you to tighten the shoe to fit. I am learning that ballet shoes are on the wide end of the spectrum and they all have that functional bow that allows you to tighten up the width (at least the ones we tried at Target and Payless had that same feature, if I remember correctly). BTW, if you are new to ballet (which we are), I discovered that my daughter is the rare child in her class with black ballet shoes... maybe should have bought the ballet pink ones? I don't think she minds, and they will stay looking better longer because they will hide dirt, but if you have a child that feels very self conscious if they stand out in some way, maybe stick with the pink/nude color.

Disappointed in sizing and color. The top shoe is a size 7 and the bottom size 6.5. First ordered a 6.5 for my daughter who is squarely in size 6 right now and the 6.5 was much too small. I then ordered a 7 and it was too big. Also, the color of the pink shoes were different. The 6.5 was pinker and the 7 was more neutral. Back they both go! Guess I'll save myself the trouble of this size guessing game and purchase them at my daughter's ballet class.

Awesome ballet shoes!! My toddler loves her ballet shoes! She's 3 and we bought size 8c and they fit perfectly and they're comfortable for her.
They got dirty after every ballet practice somehow but they cleaned up very easily just by using baby wipes.

Love these and great price compared to local dance boutique. My daughter wears between 7 and 8 depending on shoe type and brand. Most are 7.5 so I decided to follow the advice of other comments and order a half size up. I admit the letter width system was initially confusing and new to me since I've never dealt with ballet shoes prior to this purchase. I ordered 8 C (since M & W didn't exactly follow ABC width system listed) but they were too narrow for my sweet girl's chubby tootsies. I then ordered 8.5 W which was delivered as 8.5 E (M = D and W = E) and it was a perfect fit with a little room to grow. Would definitely buy again. Good quality and built to last.
