It is easy to become addicted to pistachios. Having hated pistachio ice cream as a child, I had no idea how delicious the actual nut which is offended by the process of adding its delicious goodness to wet, frozen cream, would be apart from that dreaded Italian travesty: Spumoni Ice Cream. Yuck.

Be careful if you have trouble with self control as I did when I first began buying these. I was taking Gabapentin for nerve pain following a surgery, without realizing that drug makes some people hungrier than normal. Gained a lot of weight. Largely from eating pistachios and vanilla ice cream. But these little delights have oils in them that help your blood vessels remove bad fats of various kinds. A small handful per day is supposed to be very good for your cholesterol.

Not sure why but these pistachios get really soggy after about two weeks out on the table. local store brand does not. It's a real turn off I would not buy again.

Perfect snacking size. I only wish they had this size (or any small kind of size in a bundle) unshelled. I love these! Great price, and great snack/meal replacement!

Lots of moldy nuts, several with worms in them. At least most of the wormy ones have a kind of fibrous mold so you know right away they're bad. Wouldn't eat them in the dark! Also, a lot the nuts are very dry and dull and slightly shriveled. Finally, I would say 70% of the good ones have little holes in them at the tip where I suspect a worm tried to get in but didn't.

I understand nuts are a natural product and learned all about Navel Orange Worms, but still doesn't make it pleasant to eat these in a constant state of paranoia.

Pistachios are a snack and nut you either love or you do not enjoy. Many people have the brand they prefer, as well as trying out a new brand of nuts. Of course, we have those that cannot eat nuts due to allergies, and I sympathize. I love pistachio ice-cream by many different manufacturers who make a great cream mix, trail mixes with pistachios, and I saw this 16 ounce package on the Amazon website.

I have never had Paramount Farms Pistachios this was my first time ordering this brand. I loved the fact that they were Pistachios with the Salt. Although many people cannot image eating any nuts without salt, this tasted really good. I could also add them in specific recipes. I usually purchase pistachios in the red shell, so this was a treat in the beige shells. I would recommend this brand to others, including Amazon Customers. The Seller has described this product accurately. Delivery was timely and packed securely.
