If you love hummus it's great, I just couldn't acquire the taste. That's not Tahini's fault...

both lids were unscrewed and loose when received. I looked in the jar and it was some type of slimy goo with a deep top layer of oil. how do I remove the oil? it is not worth using and I am afraid that I might get food poisoning. I want my money back.

Do not buy Tahini in cans and/or with metal lids. The metallic taste is transferred to the contents. This is good tasting Tahini at a good price. I have purchased it several times and the quality is consistent.,

This is slightly thin but very tasty tahini. Very good on toast with a bit of honey drizzled over the top, in hummus, on sweet potatoes, in stir fry, etc. Love it. This is a very good buy, too.
