We use this when he gets the slightest bit red and he has never had a diaper rash in 3 years. Works great for dry skin, too! It helps a little with eczema, but he doesn't like the oily stuff and complains about it, but when he was little it was nice to use.
The best. Tell everyone.

You know you are a parent when you want to tell everyone about a diaper cream you really love. This is the stuff. We tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste and I just could not stand the smell. Desitin actually caused a rash on my son. So I tried this stuff and it heals everything! I even used it on a rash I had and it worked. And it smells so pleasant. We are going to be moving to cloth diapers although right now have only used it with disposables.
The best out there

This stuff is worth its weight in gold. The baby will bring it to me to put on her. It has healed every minor skin irritation she has had before it even gets to full blown diaper rash. We use both cloth and disposable diapers and it works equally well with both. It has a mild, pleasant scent. I have also rubbed it on baby's nose when she had a cold and it was getting raw, and it worked great with that too.
Disappointed in a product I thought I would love

I was really in love with this stuff when I started using it-- the smell is great and it seems to work pretty well. However, after a few weeks I read the label more closely and noticed the main active ingredient is amber petrolatum... and petroleum/vaseline-type products are not safe for cloth diapers! I am having to strip all of my diapers for the first time because they started giving my daughter a horrible diaper rash. So, this stuff would be fine to use with disposables or probably with CD's + liners... but I wouldn't use it on your CD's alone.
Brought peace back into the household

My twins started developing terrible diaper rashes at 7 months old. I read every forum, blog, stopped using baby wipes, switched diaper brands, then switched to cloth diapers, isolated different foods in their diet, took them to a dermatologist, etc. It was horrible for about 3 months straight, until I tried this. On its own it didn't seem to do that great but once I topped it off with plain corn starch after every diaper change the results were amazing!!! My girls are 18 months old now and I still use it daily as a preventative measure.
I also use a spray bottle with tap water after using baby wipes and dry them off with a paper towel. Their skin is just extremely sensitive but nothing got better without this. Make sure not to double dip, apply with a q-tip in case your baby has a yeast rash...you'll end up having to throw the bottle out if it gets contaminated. This saved me and the girls!!!
