I would recommend this for kids

Quality of the slate is as expected. My kid just loved it. Giving 4 star as in one of the corners, the wood was bit scrapped.
I really hate the unpolished wood around it

Overpriced cheap quality that did not last. I really hate the unpolished wood around it. Only makes it unsafe for kids to use as I worry about the splints getting into their hands.
I've found it to be a great exercise for fine motor skills

This was on the supply list for our kindergartener's school, I've found it to be a great exercise for fine motor skills!
