Just what I needed and it arrived early.
Works good on 1 5/8" pipe for a gate hinge

Lowe's used to carry these but recently dropped them so I had to order them online from Amazon. They DO NOT come with galvanized carriage bolts so get 3/8" x 2 1/2" bolts to mount these hinges. Use grease on the hinge too.
One consideration on hanging a gate on the thinner 1 5/8" pipe, the pipe tends to lean a bit with the weight of my 4 foot wide gate. They make a thicker pipe in 2 3/8" but it's $22 a pipe compared to $15 for the 1 5/8" pipe. Just make sure and use good support from the gate to the next pipe or wall to stop the gate pipe from leaning.
