I purchased The Step at a reasonable price, so I'm happy with it so far. I'm 5'9" and it is a good size for me. I agree that it is too small for me to use for bench presses, but there is plenty of room for me to use it as an aerobic platform. I also use it as a mini-box for soft jumps (think Crossfit) and it has held steady. It is not the same quality as the platforms used at a fitness center; however, I like it for home use. Great for home workouts!! I use this in my garage, as I am in school. I need to practice for my exercise classes. I am in school in the exercise science program... I am taking a class that requires me to teach classes. So, this little step is perfect for home use. IT is smaller than steps at gyms. But, really you can get the same kind of workout using these at home. Great price. Very happy!!

I had long-term back pain so I was prescribed physical therapy. It was determined that I needed to rebuild my core. A special focus was on strengthening my abdomen, back, and legs. The exercises seemed very hard at first; however, as I continue I am finding that I am getting stronger.
I began using a step in physical therapy so I wanted one I could continue to use at home. When I saw this one, I like the appearance of it and it appeared well made. I went ahead and purchased it. It came in perfect condition. I like the fact that I can use it with or without the riser. That way I can work out alternating between using it. That helps me a great deal so I do not become accustomed to it. I also like the fact that I can purchase additional risers to increase my workout. I am taking it slow since I am still in therapy. It is great to have this at home for the days I do not attend therapy. I find the texture on the top helps to grip my shoes so I do not fall. The product is well made and I recommend it!

When you purchase something cheap, you basically get what you paid for. Surprisingly this cheap product is a sturdy and strong product. I'm a 250lb Samoan male "trying" to do hip hop stepper cardio exercises and so far, I haven't broken it LOL!!! That being said... It's a great product to me.

I was going to order a more expensive step but I found this one with Amazon warehouse at a better deal. It fits the description to a tee. It fits my footing perfectly with a lil extra space when I step up on it. The height is perfect and I can just order more levels if I want to. Holds firm to the floor and it's not too heavy to lug around. Slides perfectly under my bed.
I do wish the gripping when I step was rubber maid. Seems more like just grooves and ridges so I won't slip. Can't complain too much it was a great price and it came a day early with delivery.
