hello,
public knowledge of gluten in food products is good. how much it affects certain people is important. we were on the look out for gluten free products. to meet the needs at early morning pancake cravings, this bisquick gluten free flour blend is good for many forms of cooking. the flour blend works well as a cooking product. it may not meet the needs of non-gluten free people's diets, but at least the ones affected by gluten in most food products will not get ill after eating. gluten free is a good thing.

If you have been missing waffles and pancakes because you cannot eat wheat, you need this in your life! Most store bought gluten free products tend to have a crumbly texture and lack of flavor all to often. I have learned how to make a gluten free versions of many of my favorite baked goods. But sometimes I want something fast and easy and YUMMY! This stuff fits the bill and tastes like the REAL THING! No crumbly textures. No nasty aftertaste. I made waffles that were still soft in the middle and crisp on the outside. So. Good.

I grew up eating and cooking with bisquick -Biscuits, pancakes and impossible pies. At first, I avoided this mix because I figured it would be like all the other gluten free mixes : brittle, bland, and bleached. But it's not. I use this mix for pancakes. Using buttermilk my pancakes are fluffy and have flavor and brown evenly.

LOVE!! You can definitely tell texture wise when pouring this in your measuring cup that it is not the same as the non gluten free mix. Its a much finer "flour". I have been on the hunt for gluten free products that taste good and that I can sneak in there to feed my kids who are super picky, and they cant tell the difference either! Makes like easier when I don't have to cook two separate kinds of meals to appease everyone.

Recently found this in my local Kroger for half the price of Amazon, so Ill be buying it from there from now on- but was worth the price to try it!

You wont be disappointed. This is really good! And if there is a difference, other than being gluten free and ingredients- I cant tell what it is!

We really like this mix because of the ingredients on it. Gluten free products usually have a lot of non natural ingredients to make it close to the wheat version. We add some chia seeds to it to make them more more rich in fiber and to give them a more "crunchy" texture. The result of using the mix is very good. The pancakes are delicious, easy to make and with good texture. We have use almond milk and lactose free milk to make them and it is interesting to notice that the final taste for both is different, as well as the time for them to be ready. The real milk version burn quicker so we have to use a lower amount of heat. We like more the version with almond milk because the results is more close to the bread we use to eat before being gluten free.
