Only Good for 2-3 years then quits.

This was my second Pyramid Time Trax. I had the Time Trax then had to purchase the Elite. Both models were great at first then with time they start loosing/not reading the finger prints. With the Elite employees can enter their Employee number when it won't scan.
Over time the key pad craps out too! Warranty and Tech Support are basically useless. So to wrap it up, I've purchased two Time Trax over the past 6 years and now I'm looking for something else. Not a huge investment but something small businesses find hard to expense every couple years.

It is not as described on the website, it is lost in control of the days of payment, poor quality and loss of time and money. loses the synchronicity, often does not recognize the fingerprint, lost time and money, then they want to charge you for the technical support.

You have to buy support because their software blows.

Product works but.......
Their software blows up......
Due to Microsoft updates their software randomly blows up. So this nice hardware is useless.
Plan to spend the $250 a year for support because the software will fail on you.
There is a reason there is only a 90 day warranty on this product. They get you by
selling support.

NOT USER FRIENDLY

This is difficult to use. It doesn't come with a user manual that goes beyond the actual download to your computer. I tried looking online for a downloadable manual, and it doesn't exist. I am returning this product because it is expensive and NOT user friendly at all. Unless you are a computer genius and can teach yourself how to use new computer programs without a manual or guide of any kind then I don't recommend buying this at all. I even tried their customer support and no one answered. I am annoyed that I wasted this much time on something that I am just sending back.

It worked Ok for 3 weeks before refusing to pull punches. Customer service was friendly but not helpful. Their ultimate statement was that it has "issues" working in a WiFi environment even though it is connected via LAN.

From the employee perspective it's a black hole. They see their employee number but can't see anything beyond that. Nothing regarding hours worked etc.

The unit consistently (and still does) registers finger reads every time. The only real problem with it is that it doesn't work.

Being a small business I didn't get it installed within the 30 days so I can't even send it back. Now I have a $350 paperweight for my desk that irritates me daily.
