I ordered the robe in PLUM and received it in GRAY. I kept it simply because I was in the hospital and needed the robe to keep warm so I didn't return it. But I'd much rather have the plum color.

Received this today and been wearing it since. It got so warm two or three times that I had to take it off, which means it can handle the chill in the house - a very good thing. I've been layering up in lieu of something like this. The full zipper makes this much warmer than regular tie robes while still being much lighter, and the neck is not too tight when I zip it all the way up. My only issue was that it looked just like a big, black moo-moo once on. Since I'm petite, I'm used to altering my clothing, and now that it's been taken in, it fits much better. I even undid the cuffs and tightened the sleeves so that I can have the sleeves over my hands when I want, and can push them up my arm when I want. That's the only reason I removed a star, since the small was very, very big originally. The length goes down to my ankles, and I'm easily able to sit in all the positions I want - Indian style, even putting my knees inside the robe. It's almost exactly what I was looking for, the warm factor being my highest priority. Now make it a bit more sleek and add a hood and it's exactly what I want.

I bought this robe as a replacement for a LL Bean Polar Tech fleece zip robe that had turned into sandpaper, irritating my skin. I wanted a long, soft, warm, fleece robe to keep me warm in the cold New England winter.

I wish I could rate this robe as 3.5 starts. I like it, don't love it. The good news: the robe is nice, it fits well, true to size. It's the right length. I almost didn't buy it because some of the reviews mention bad shedding, but I'm not seeing that at all. I washed it before I wore it, and there was a normal amount of lint in the dryer, and I'm not noticing any lint as I wear it. I think there were mentions of a problem with the zipper, mine is fine. I'm satisfied.

But, I wish the fleece fabric was heavier. I also recently purchased a fleece wrap robe from TowelSelections here on Amazon, and it is amazingly thick, soft and luxurious, and $20 less than this robe. (Wish they made a zip robe!) This robe suffers in comparison, it is much thinner. I don't think it's a great value for the $66 I paid for it, no great bargain here. While I'm not sure how warm it will be in the frigid temperatures, it's comfortable now in late fall.

Great quality. Very comfortable and stands up to several washings. I wear it daily.

I am mostly satisfied with my robe. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a little short. They're cuffed and securely stitched in two places making it impossible to let them down without damaging the robe. The fit otherwise is true to size. The robe has a very soft and cozy feel and although I thought it was a little pricey it was my first choice from a sparse selection of long robes with a full front zipper.
