Good basic drawer

This is a pretty good basic drawer at a good price. I have purchased 7 for 7 small businesses I have over a year ago. All installed without a hitch (triggered by Epson receipt printer). One has broken and had to be replaced. The biggest complaint is that they're just a little too narrow to accommodate 5 US bills. If you give up the 5th slot, you can adjust the dividers to allow plenty of room for 4 bills. But if you wish to use the 5th slot for extra 1's or bills higher than 20s, the bills are too snug - more difficult to get in and out than they should be.

Cheaply made. Started having issues with the drawer opening and closing. The slots for the bills were too small so the bills could not lay flat. Very frustrated. Had to buy new one

I made the mistake of ordering a few of these and although they do work, they are not heavy duty enough to run in a busy restaurant or store where the drawer is slammed shut hundreds of times per day. I had to replace this drawer after a year. Customer did not like the Euro style cash tray and the dividers that were adjustable promptly got lost. The drawer frame got distorted and the drawer got sticky after about 6 months. We replaced it with a heavy duty APG cash drawer with a standard molded cash tray and have had no problems.
This cash drawer is an example of an item for your business that you do not want to skimp on. For instance, the cash drawer kick cable is hard wired into the drawer instead of using a simple rj12 socket.
Price was good but we now only use name brand APG cash drawers because they last and don't distort from cash drawer being slammed hundreds of times daily.

Faulty locking mechanism

I purchased two of these cash drawers as a sample to replace the existing drawers that our company carries. Both drawers did not work straight iut of the box. I had to literally open up one of the cash drawers in front of the client because the lock mechanism was not releasing the drawer nor did the printer trigger the opening of the drawer. After disassembling the drawer, it worked fine for a few days and jammed again.
The other drawer did the exact same thing. Bottom line, I ended up having to replace both drawers at five times the cost locally just to maintain our reputation on the island.
I will not be purchasing this item again.

Arrived on date...poor packaging

Receive the shipment on the date.
The Packaging did not protect the product. The cash register didn't want to open while using the key and applying it to the printer label. It came damage....I didn't have time to return it and to get a new one. So I open it to see what was the problem and got a set of pliers and a fix it myself. The cash register works fine.🔧🔨
