held up for 5 years. love this product worth every penny. And it took a lot of abuse.
The blacak and white muslims are still being used only one bulb has broken

Lets just start by, the price is perfect for the quality. The bar to hold the back drop is very light weight and does sag a little, in time will probably bend, although this is perfect for a starter kit. Second the lights are dim but with different bulbs there will be no problem. third the backdrops are thin, layer your backdrops and put in front of a wall. Problem solved. Few quirks but with creativity problem solved.
I'm pleased with this product. Think positive and you can make do with anything.

I have a good camera and just wanted to take studio type pictures for family and friends. This did the trick. The cloth is super thin so I just attached another one behind it and it was fine. I got my own clips and that worked well. The only thing is that it'll tip easily so make sure you're in an area that won't have kids knocking stuff over. My bar hasn't bent at all but I can imagine that could happen with long term use as it's really light. I could use some brighter lights too. Then again for the price, this set was worth it. I have some awesome pictures from using it at home and at an engagement party.

This is a good start up set for a great price. If you are looking for higher quality items or something that will be used constantly you may want to check on something different. I didn't want to spend tons of money so this is perfect for my needs. Also it is great because it all folds up and fits in a bag for easy storage or to take along.
