Works for me

These are great. So much better and more sanitary than plastic containers. But, obviously, don't heat these in the microwave, either. Put it on a plate or suck it up and eat your food cold. I imagine they'd hold up in the dishwasher but I just hand-wash them. Cons: they're not leak-proof and the lids come off easily, so I usually secure them on with a rubber band. But they work well for solid foods in lunch boxes/bags for extra backup.
Lid is not secure
Quality Review✓ Verified Purchase•May 29, 2017
The lid does not securely hold onto the bottom part of the box. It will open and spill its contents if not additionally secured with a rubber band. The lid seems to be very well made out of thick gauge steel but the bottom parts seem thinner gauge. It is sturdy enough but the lid is insecure without a rubber band and because of this we had to go to the Comfort Loft Bento Box. The box is a good size, however, and will fit a good size sandwich or other items.
Perfect for Sandwiches

So sick of plastic lunch containers. Not only is the plastic bad for you, it's bad for Eco system and the cost factor over the many years you will pack a lunch for how many people daily is ridiculous. I bought these, cause I was tired of making same old boring lunches and winter is upon us. These are just the best. I saw some cheaper stuff but not as good a quality. These do hold heat or cold if you start out right with them. I like sizes. I can put a flat one with sandwich in their lunch box and this thermos container on top and close the top. I can use the larger container with 5 sections in bottom part of their lunch box with 3 frozen blocks, close it and put another one in top section width this thermos container and sandwich container and my husband said nothing melted or got nasty looking.
This is a great lunch container

This is a great lunch container. I love to make bento in it, where I can section off food with silicone cupcake liners. It is not water-tight, but it isn't designed for that. I find that I can put salads with dressing in it just fine because it stays upright in my lunch sack (made by Fluf) and subsequently my backpack to take to work (walking or biking). I love that it's stainless steel so I don't have to worry about plastic or fading/peeling paint.
Durable & easy to clean

Loving our new lunch container. We've used lunchbots containers for years (and are still using them - they last!) but many of ours have dividers. We wanted one large container for sandwiches, salads, etc. We use them mainly in packed lunches for school & work but have used them for many occasions. They are durable, easy to clean (hand wash or dishwasher), and the lid stays put but is easy for the younger ones to remove.
