Just What I needed

The small set screw which locks the mechanism is too long and only a thread or two is engaged. This makes it easy to lose and the threading was poor so it could not be reinstalled until I restored the threads. Also the telescope is very low power!

Novel, great looking, yet unsuitable for the well dressed cane user. Out the box, this item showed lack of quality with poor fastening of assembled pieces. The top continuously falls off. Within two weeks; rather useless.

top and bottom do not fit together

Seems like a good idea but the one I purchased did not screw together (top and bottom) properly. The bottom just falls right off. So, it is useless. Not only that but the optics are a joke. I doubt that they are even 3x as specified. Bummer because it was to be a gift for my husband and now I have to scramble to find something else. Save your money.

I've been after this for a long time, but it's not always in stock. It looks great and you can feel in your hand how nice it is, I definitely recommend it. I wish I had more chances to take it out.
I gave it a 4 because the telescoping part is loose and drops down into the cane enough that I can't open it without being a bit awkward. It loses some of the wow factor that way, but I still love it.
