This is a great little impact except for the anvil and retaining ring
Paul E VolkNovember 21, 2014
I have had many impacts over the years, from cheapies to CP. This is a great little impact except for the anvil and retaining ring. We don't use them hard here in the shop since we mostly use 1/2" impacts. The power is excellent and the light weight helps, but after less than a year of light use, the retaining ring peeled off and the only way to fix it is to replace the whole anvil assembly at half the price of a new impact. A pin or a ball would hold every bit as well, and wouldn't peal off with use. All in all a good unit.
Great little impact gun

This was my first 3/8in. impact gun. I love it!! It's lite weight and more then powerful enough to do most work a 1/2 gun would do. I like the side to side alot more than the IR push button design. It's very quiet but not aircat quiet.
overall I rate it a solid 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. I'm getting the 1/2in. CP s2s gun next.
