Lag screws appear too short for my installation - etc..
davem✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 14, 2018
Decent quality for hanging so much weight.. As others eluded, the Lag Screws are pretty darn SHORT (especially for my installation - will be purchasing upgraded screws before hanging 375lbs overhead on a finished wall.) Other minor issues: looks like one of the mounting bracket needs to be straightened to have it set flush against the wall - AND - missing hardware (screws/washers/bolts) - Instructions also didn't match the version of item sent (or the one that customer service had) but the main points were fine (mainly parts discrepancies in between older/newer versions?) - Missing parts are likely an amz warehouse issue (recently seen a persistent, lack of certification for "like new" item offerings, and unexpected delays) - but going through customer service for a few dollars worth of missing hardware (screws, bolts, and washers) was agonizing. Buy from the seller, and cross your fingers
Where's My Washers?

I actually have 3 of these now in my garage.

They have been up for up to 7 years with no issues.

I am deducting one star as on the last install a lot of washers (lock and flat) were not supplied but were called out in instructions.
Manufacturer must anticipate this as they include a flyer that states if parts are missing to contact them and not return product.
Might be better to improve your QC systems.
Modified this as a floor tire rack (LoLoft?)
Ted✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 27, 2017
I wanted a floor level tire storage rack and could not find one. Saw this and I thought ... "I could modify that to work as a floor rack." Before I get into the modification details, I should say that this product arrived in perfect condition and appears to be a sturdy unit. Now for the modification (see pics) ... Inverted the rack (such that mounting tabs were horizontal) and attached the tabs to two 2x4 skids. Additionally, added a 1x1 piece between the now upper area of the rack (to add some extra structural rigidity). Final outcome: Looks good (imho), appears functional, and is very solid (e.g., not at all flimsy). Works for me!
Great for truck tires

Setup was easy, took a few tries to get the adjustment bars sizes correctly for my tires but they rest nicely now. I weighed these snow tires at ~70 lbs each before ordering. This would max out many other wall mount tire racks. Glad I ordered this one, feels totally solid and secure.

There were some scratches on the finish but let's be honest... I'm not struttin' this rack around town, it's not in the elements inside my garage and it's used to rack my seasonal tires. Still 5 stars all the way.

The bars they use are nice and hefty by the way. The welds and build quality are solid all around.

The tires I have up there right now are 265 70 17 winter wheels and tires and my 275 65 18 all season should fit up there just the same.

You can see that I mounted mine really high. To make it easier to get the 70 lb wheels and tires up that high I used a cheap block and tackle. Super-Handy Heavy-Duty 4,000 LB Capacity Rope Hoist -- it's a really cheap solution, the pulleys have more friction than I'd like... again, not the best but I do this twice a year. Just make sure you use a way over powered hook properly anchored to a beam on the ceiling. The one I'm using (from Home Depot) is rated for 375 lbs... not designed for overhead lifting but the job didn't stress the setup at all. In fact my 5 yo daughter was able to hoist it.

Finally my wheels and tires are up and out of the way!! Thank you! ...looks cool too.
Adequate Affordable Solution, Not Very Versatile.

Didn't realize this was up to 48". Our garage studs appear to be 28" apart nearest the door. I had to get creative with the install. Installed the vertical members on 2 studs 56" apart with the members as far in as they would go. Then instead of a 3rd bar across the back, I used 3 of the adjustable bars in 2 places across the bottom instead of 2. I did have to use a pipe cutter and cut the threaded end off one of the pipes. It seems to hold just fine, though not ideal an install. Good price. Hard to complain.
