Great bag. Extremely well made
D. Robillard•December 28, 2016
Great bag. Extremely well made. I was looking for a bag that would carry a GH4 body and a full frame Nikon D800 with a 70-200mm lens attached and this works good I wish it was about an inch taller because the 70-200 has to go in at an angle which eats up a lot of valuable space. I think Think Tank makes great products and will be looking at them on my next camera bag purchase. -Dave

Great for the price too

I tried the Sling-O-Matic 20 and returned it, this bag is much batter quality wise and padding wise. I have worn it for hours at a time while walking through San Francisco without my shoulder getting sore. It fits a pro sized body + 70-200+14-24+35 + 50 + speed light and batteries! Great for the price too.
Great bag but...

I love the bag design and build but the problem with this bag is the padding is half the thickness of Tenba and they sag when your camera presses up against it Tenba bags padding is very stiff and can't be bent at all unlike ThinkTank padding. I still love how you can swing it around from the back the only thing I would do is double upon on the padding
excellent construction and wonderful idea...buuuut....

if you carry a specific kit and never need expandability, this bag is excellent. If you need pockets or compartments, this bag is pretty lacking. The Sling-O-Matic system is excellent and the strap is comfortable, if only slightly overpadded. it comes with a myriad of dividers which is great until you realize that you are kinda stuck with a top-down reach-in scenario. for me, it was fine- main body in the middle, 2 P&S cams stacked, long lenses below the primary body, and filters/batteries/etc in the very small top pocket.
