The device doesn't function as intended. Tolerances are very important in inspection scopes as the cladding and cores of fiber range from 125 microns to 8 microns. Using the attachments for 2.5 mm ferrules, I inserted a SMF SC connector and could not find the cladding, only the surrounding ferrule. I squeezed and pushed and tried bending a bit and was able to get the cladding into the view, but it quickly disappeared once I moved a tiny bit. Luckily I had a professional VeEX video inspection scope and this was just a back-up, had it been my primary I would have no way to validate fibers were clean.
