It works as advertised and I was able to pack it up to use with my next house. This may seem a bit pricey, but when you look at what the limited service agents charge to put a sign in your yard, you might as well just buy this. It the same to buy the post as it was to have them put one in. An not I've got a sign post. The install was easy but I would recommend a 3 lb sledge at a minimum. I had to pound the spike in with a small hatchet, and that was a bit more work than I would have liked.

This was a great product, sturdy, well made and great looking but unfortunately it didn't work with my 36"wide sign.

This is a great post and looks fantastic...BUT..I wish it was a little better designed.

This post went together quickly and easily in less than a minute, it's a piece of cake to use. The only issue i have is with the caps, which you are paying a premium for. The caps fit very loosely and fall off without much effort or wind. I ended up adding a screw to each cap to keep it in place which isn't a big deal, I just wish the screws were included and color coded like the screws for the rider, 3 more screws and we'd be in business.

The only other suggestion, and I'd be willing to pay more for it, would be a slip on collar for the main post that would sit on the ground and keep the post from getting eaten up by weed eaters, the yard guys don't slide the post up to go around and you end up with garbage each use if you do the lawn on a regular basis.

Other than the cap issue, it's a great looking post!

Looks very professional (multiple Realtors seeking to list my house commented) and gives drivers-by a much better view of my FSBO sign compared with typical signage in the neighborhood supported by flimsy metal rods plunged into the ground. Easy to assemble, light-weight, sturdy enough for flyer box installation. Solid product. Helped me sell my home fast.
