This polish/wax is awesome. It is all natural and does not smell
Leatha R. Pierce•February 26, 2018
We just had a custom kitchen island built and it has a butcher block top. We wanted a cleaning product that we could use without any side effects such as a strong smell and also wanted it to be environmentally safe. Other products we tried were heavy and gummy and came with warnings about the chemicals used in the wax/cleaner. Van's Unscented is awesome. It is all natural and does not smell. Also it does not streak, goes on smoothly, and is not tacky to the touch. I think that we will love it. It just came today and I had to try it. I am impressed!!
Excellent Product for Finished and Raw Woods
Brian Lev•February 20, 2018
I haven't used much of this wax yet, but everything it's touched looks great. I have used it on kitchen cabinets, assorted furniture (75+ years old), and several different raw kiln-dried woods. Although not a high-gloss polish, it cleans the wood nicely (and does a nice job of bringing out the grain on the raw woods) and buffs to a nice sheen. I will definitely buy more in the future -- but that may be a while because the manufacturer's note that "a little goes a long way" is true!
This was perfect. There was no scent
Amazon Customer•February 11, 2018
I am chemical sensitive, so I needed a cabinet polish/wax to shine up my cabinets that was not going to give me a migraine. This was perfect. There was no scent, and with very little effort, I was able to rejuvenate my cherry stained wood kitchen cabinets. All the water spots and worn areas are gone and they look brand new. I highly recommend this product! It's been almost 2 months and they still look great!
Wanted something that antique furniture might be 'familiar' with...and this was it!
Just My Opinion....•August 8, 2017
I chose this because I have some very old furniture that needed cleaning (not stripping) and then a little conditioning. I wanted to use a product that could have been around when the furniture was made so that it would be compatible with everything else that has been used on it, and that would not leave a chemical or waxy build-up on the pieces. (No Pledge). This has been amazing!
After many wipes with Oil Soap, the wood needed a little something to condition it. I slathered this on more generously than suggested (though not to the point of "oiling" the wood) and left it for 24 hours to sink in, then went back to buff. Almost nothing came off. So I re-applied (less slathering, since this was the second time around), waited a day and buffed: really beautiful, warm glow to the wood, not sticky at all and just perfect!
I even did the back of the piece where the original "finish" was a bit more haphazard and less refined - even that looked amazing once I'd done it!
It does last quite long and I wouldn't keep it in a hot garage or I think it would separate out and get weird, but I love it. I bought the buffing pads that showed up in the side bar - I use old t-shirts or socks to apply the polish - and they are very easy and do the job well...they are padded, so you can really buff quite vigorously without hurting your fingers of the furniture.

Good stuff; does a very nice job

I much prefer this to things like Johnson's Paste Wax or even Goddard's. First of all, it smells nice, not like an engine. It does a great job of bringing back a moderate shine and and more-or-less even tone. I used it on a beat-up dresser that I converted to a carving bench. It helped cover scratches and brought back some luster to even water-damaged wood at the base. It also doesn't seem to leave a hard to buff out residue if it dries too long. This wax really does a fine job. as to looks. We'll see how it holds up to use, although most wax isn't that protective (say, as to water) in general, so one can't expect miracles. Maybe I'll be surprised, though.
