This item appears to be exceptionally well made and fit as expected. Definitely not a costume accessory which is exactly what I need. Fits well and comfortably and holds well onto my stocking even when I'm moving about constantly. Haven't had one wardrobe malfunction at all! I highly recommend this.

This is the only garter belt you'll ever need. I bought an 8 for a 31" waist and it fits perfectly; I'd recommend sizing down. It stretches. Three straps is the way to go for security, and these adjust securely with metal slides with teeth to hold the elastic in place. The rubber parts of the stocking clips are a tad flimsy; I've had them come undone on me, but only a few times. But the metal openings they slot into are very sturdy and won't break. The mesh on the sides is nice and powerful and the satin in the middle is reinforced. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is an awesome garter. Something that can really be worn, not just for show. It's well made and sturdy and the straps are strong. I ordered a size US 8, exactly my size usually and it fits perfectly.

Most tights and stockings these days already come with rubber to hold them up, making a traditional garter belt a bit of an outdated fashion accessory. Luckily for me, there has been a bit of a renaissance of fancy socks due to places like Sock Dreams. Unlike stockings, these thigh-high socks greatly benefit from a good garter belt to keep them in place.

Unfortunately, this garter belt's button-and-loop closures don't worry well even with medium thickness socks. You either can't close them in the first place, or they pop open immediately. Other garter belts (such as the Rago Six Strap) have slightly buffer button-and-loop closures that do work well with socks. This garter belt is undeniably attractive and comfortable, but expect to only use it for truly lightweight stockings.
