Plastic mats that can protect existing floor mats

Just received the Elite 4 piece Vinyl Floor Mats and initially thought that it was missing two mats. Upon closer inspection I realized all the mats were in fact there but were just really thin. One major complaint I have was when it came to separating the mats from the plastic hanger. I understand the need to keep the mats attached to a plastic hanger but I spent more time than I wanted to in order to remove the 3 industrial grade staples without tearing the mats. The mats are clear and do not have a tint/hint of color. The mats did not have a scent to them. The drivers side mat was too large but I was able to cut it to tailor fit my needs. Clings to existing floor mats but I noticed that the back mats tend to slide. Would not recommend using these independently but works as intended to protect the existing floor mats.

These are clear and attractive, but so thin and stuck together I thought there were only two! Also, once I put them in the car they slipped around constantly which caused them to get bunched up behind pedals (unsafe). They are also extremely smooth on the top. This is great for keeping them clean, but not for traction. If your feet are even a tiny bit wet you may go slipping and sliding. I pulled a muscle in my back because I fell getting into the car. My foot slipped right out from under me. I returned them.

The product is so thin that all the pieces were stuck together. We finally got it apart so we're good.
Maybe it should say to pull apart because I noticed someone else had the same issue, but we are all set now.
I agree with others though regarding the staples... very very hard to get out.

Got a new car--they fit my 2017 Honda CRV just fine! Didn't give 5 stars because of heavy duty staples that were hard to take off!! There was also a strong smell at first so I let them air out a couple days before putting in car. Otherwise I like them so far!

Look great!!! Love the smoke. Have had the clear in my car for many years, but I just didn't realize the smoke would look better. Have British tan interior with clay colored carpet and dash trim. If you have similar color on the interior of your car, you'll love the smoke.
