Great kit of THE television car!
Karl Morgan Wikström•January 7, 2016
Long years of wait are over, AT LAST we have 1/25 scale kits of the iconic 1960s TV-series Batmobile! The pre-painted body looks wonderful, with a deep gloss finish with orange pinstripes and Bat insignia. The pre-painted vinyl Batman and Robin also look good. Nothing else is pre-painted though, apart from a few chrome-plated pieces it's just black plastic everywhere. I brung out some paints from my stash - silver, red, yellow, gray and detailed the interior, painted silver edges on the windshields and a red fire extinguisher. I also put some paint on the parachutes and turbine exhausts in the rear. The decals were well printed with myriads of very small labels for the instrument panel and a choice of three licence plates,
Apart from the painting and the decals, the car took about an hour to put together with no problems at all. But as on most of Polar Lights so called "snap" models some parts didn't stay together very well so I had to use glue on a couple of places.
An enjoyable build and an excellent addition to my collection of TV and Movie cars. (It's notably bigger than Revell's old Lincoln Futura - the car the Batmobile was based on. One of them is obviously in the wrong scale!)

Really nice kit. A large parts count for a snap kit. The stripes already on the body is a big thing, and very well done. The figures are smaller than the ones in the Batcycle kit. They both are listed as 1/25 scale, so ones not right. The package makes a nice display, note that on mine it appeared to have dust in the body finish (seen through the box window) but it was some sort of oily sprinkled stuff. But it wiped right off and did not harm the finish at all. And the finished body was great. The bat spinners are painted also to save you from trying to match the stripes. Leave them off till you get the wheels pushed on the axle, it's a tight fit and you need to push right where the spinners go. Add a bit of lube/grease to the axle end to make the push a bit easier. Have some red and silver model paint on hand to detail it. Gold for the ant. in front of the canopy if you want to get that proper. Enamel works much better than acrylic, testors brand is easy to find and the colours are correct. Enjoy the build!
Ok for the price.

Ce as described. I did have trouble putting antenna and other mall parts in . The holes were too small. It did turn out nice in spite of the decals that were unusable. I used paint instead.
... painted red details on the body make the a perfect model.

This with its two painted character and the painted red details on the body make the a perfect model.
some pieces fall off easily

I like the design and look of the car. It was a little hard to snap the smaller pieces together, but not impossible. Only took about an hour and a half to put the car together. Some of the small pieces in the interior of the car fell off right after snapping them in. The larger pieces have held together well and my 8 year old son has played with the car every day for three weeks.
