Worth the $

Actually went together pretty easy. Sturdy, however I strapped it to a tree and lean my two kayaks on the tree and use the stand to lay them on upside down. Works great. Worked fine through a big storm. Worth the $.

Just finished putting it together. Fit and finish appear to be of good quality and time outside in the Florida sun and rain will test it.
Just note that the bottom rungs are on the ground except for the thickness of the support bracket. So the bottom Kayack will be about 2" off the ground.

Just fits my two sit-on-top tandems... but they do fit and it was easy to assemble. No build issues. I did spray a little extra clear-coat over some of the likely to rust spots.

II am giving it 5 stars due to the rack being sturdy and easy to build, but it is NOT an outdoor rack, I coated all exposed areas with spray on truck bed liner to keep it and the hardware from rusting and would recommend you do the same if you plan on putting this rack outside in the elements.
Be careful. Assembly is the biggest problem you'll have with this.

Once it's put together, it looks as though it will do the trick. It did have a scratch on it which had rust on it but it didn't matter to me. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is that in the sales pitch it says it keeps the boats (whatever kind you choose) off the "ground". By this I assumed it could be used outside as that is where the ground is. Boy, was I wrong. In the instructions, it says it is only for inside use. The instructions are the problem. They only identify two screw lengths. There are three and they don't tell you correctly where they go. Eventually, after taking screw out and putting them in different places, I quit with the instructions and just used my common sense. Today I read a good reviewer who had the same experience. He wrote the correct instructions according to his experience. If you buy one of these, I would look for his review.
