It's an alright product but I have come to the conclusion that nothing is better than the good old fashion way of face steaming.
First of all, if you have sensitive skin, this product is not for you. The steam is waaaay too hot for your face. I used it for a month and ended up looking like a lobster. My skin was very red, very sensitive after this.
Second of all, it didn't help open up my pores good enough, because the steam is too hot and you always have to pull away.

Works, great for steaming your face on a cold day. Great for sinus headaches and congestion. I will always have one available for the cold season.

The water it holds is very little and the steam is not too strong. Its not good for me.

There's so little steam to really qualify this product as a steamer with respect to the earlier product I used to have..
However, if we cover the head and put face down the base, it works....I am not comfortable with that arrangement...
I am used to having steam coming to my face, the white fumes are missing here...

It gives off a good amount of steam and very quickly, but you can't steam your whole face...the chin area is too close to the steam and burns your lips if you put your face to close. If you don't put your face too close you don't get the steam. I had one from Revlon in the 80s and it was better where you could rest your face and steam all areas without burning your lips. Oh well. 30 years ago it cost the same as this one, but it was better quality. That just tells me I get what I pay for in 2016. :(
