Bought to replace a homemade one. Much better and it gets much use from two granddaughters. We keep it at the lowest height because the youngest is 6. Lots of money but in this case you get what you pay for

I like the beam, but it has a tendency to loosen as the gymnast uses it. Its an easy fix as the supports just need to be twisted in. but my daughter comes to me once a day complaining its loose and wobbly and then I have to go adjust it for her. Also if you have it on the highest setting then its not sturdy unless you mount it to the ground or put weights on it.

Great practice beam, it's very stable. Using it at it's lowest height of 15in. It's recommended to get a padded mat to go under beam, two 8ft mats one on each side. The synthetic suede material feels nice to the touch, and the padded surface is just right, not to hard and not too soft. Assembly was easy, a ratchet set is needed. I used my cordless drill with the appropriate ratchet size and it went together in no time. Very happy with this purchase.

Great beam for our level 3 gymnast who wants to perfect dismounts. Just like the beams at gymnastics, just shorter at 8 ft. Must lower beam when needs to hold hands up, too tall at 30inch setting in our low basement ceiling area.
