Lotus Foods Organic Brown Jasmine Rice, 25-Pound Bag

SEE BELOW FOR PRICING GRIPE, BUT I GIVE THE PRODUCT I RECEIVED 5 STARS A+

I give a five star A+ for this purchase of Organic Brown Jasmine Rice due to its great fresh smell, fresher inventory, excellent batch tracking, and overall uniform smooth appearance, feel, and smell. It was like purchasing a quality brown rice single dinner box, but in a bulk size. The color and texture is uniform and can be stored in three (1)-gallon Mylar bags vacuum sealed for freshness and a prepper-recommended 5-year shelf-life (at least). I sifted the rice and found no sign of foreign materials or other organic life that includes any signs of pest presence, worms, cocooning, webbing, moths, or myriad other hidden dangers lurking in some brands (according to video & eyewitness reviews) of those compromised bags of rice. I can only speak for this specific batch of only the "Lotus Foods Organic Brown Jasmine Rice." It is a product of Cambodia, and handles through California in the United States for quality control and distribution. I am also aware not each bag to the next will be as pure as the one I received, but I have confidence you will not be disappointed. I will purchase again if/when needed/available. Thank you very much!

MY ONLY GRIPE: AFTER MY ONE PURCHASE OF THIS 25 lb. BAG AT $49.14 (PRIME FREE SHIPPING) THE SELLER JACKED THE PRICE UP BY ABOUT 20% WITHIN A WEEK OF MY PURCHASE (ABOUT A WEEK). NOW AT $60 PRIME, IF THE QUALITY REMAINS IT IS STILL A GO TO OPTION. HOWEVER, I FEEL THIS PRICE-HIKE IS UNNECESSARY FOR BUYING BULK, AND HAS ME SEARCHING FOR ALTERNATIVES AROUND THE WEB. I HOPE THE PRICE RETURNS TO $45-$50.
Healthy and great taste/texture

Love this rice!! It taste great and has a good texture. I get asked all the time what kind of rice it is. I've given out several packs to friends. It's even better knowing this is one of the healthiest rices on the market. I cook in my instant pot for 23 minutes and every time turns out perfect!!
Ideal Rice

I had been buying this rice at a physical store. It is fantastic. It is fluffy, sticky, and tastes amazing. The high antioxidants and the clinical trial showing it lowers histamine are additional excellent perks. When my local store sold out of this brand, I tried another, and it was terrible"”flavorless, dry, bad texture. I got on Amazon and ordered this brand in bulk. I included pictures of this rice cooked and uncooked. I use it to make juk, stir-fry, in soups, and in Mexican dishes.
Anyone know how to best cook in Neuro Fuzzy?
MacUser✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 1, 2016
I had this at a restaurant a few months back and it was amazing! I had to have it, so I bought 6 bags lol.

I'm still trying to perfect my rice cooking techniques, but I cant seem to match how the restaurant did it. I'm sure they just followed the directions on the bag, that would probably end up with the best results. But me, I'm slightly difficult.

I purchased a Neuro Fuzzy rice cooker over a year ago and that thing is my best friend. It cooks rice, that's what it's made for! But for some reason when I cook this rice in my cooker, it ends up Al Dente. Not a bad thing, but I just want it to be fuller, softer, etc. I'm not giving up because I know how delicious this rice is.

I'm open to suggestions if anyone else uses a Neuro Fuzzy.
worms and moths all over

I just opened my bag of rice and sadly realized that it is totally contaminated with little black moths and tons of worms. I will not buy a bag like this every again, what a waste... I would recommend you buy your rice at your local store so you can see what you are getting..
