Middle School Proof
ND Irish79•April 3, 2016
I purchased a set of 10 Adams CQT-601 balances to be shared by a 450 middle school students. 3 years later and countless drops, bumps and set up/tear downs, the balances are still rock solid. They are "middle school proof" and the light up display and simple operation has helped students find reliable mass measurements a countless number of times. I would suggest reading the book and adjusting the settings to your specific needs. It took about a half hour to read and set up all 10. (very easy to do) In short, I have used the Ohaus balances for years and hands down prefer the Adams for ease of operation, reliability and affordability.
Good scale, has worked well in our shop for over two years

Good accurate scale. As our more accurate shop balance, Adam unit has given us accurate and consistent readings for over 2 years now. The primary uses have been accurately mixing epoxies and curing agents, and quality control measures of product weight.
Pros: accurate, easy to use, easy to see and read the big letters, backlight turns on when non-zero reading is displayed.
The wall-wart power supply a bit annoying even though it isn't huge; it would be a definite improvement to incorporate the power supply into the unit.

This is not a good scale, its not worth the money. Lab Professionals opinion...Most annoying thing is the short window you have before the thing turns itself off. NOT A GOOD PRODUCT
