They do a great job of keeping drinks cool, it lasts several hours. Took them to the Hollywood Bowl, didn't need to bother with ice. Good purchase.

These are so great. We take wines and champagnes with us to restaurants and these do a great job of keeping the wine cold. The champagne cooler is perfect for the larger bottles that champagne comes in.

I think there were claims that these would actually chill the wine. Not going to happen. However, if the wine is already chilled, they are useful for keeping it more chilled than it would be if you didn't have them on the bottles.

I purchased these in anticipation of using them during outings. Claims to "chill quickly and last for hours." Both I found to be severely false. All of my trials with this product were inside an air conditioned home so I seriously doubt it would last outside as it failed miserably indoors.
At best, it took 30 minutes to be moderately chilled (yet still not at a drinkable temp). At an hour and a half the wine was back to warm and this product was no longer slightly chilled. I even put my arm all the way in it and barely felt chilled.
Best use for this product would be to protect ur bottles during transport.

These are a great alternative to ice buckets and look festive. I don't feel they chill a warm bottle of wine as good as just putting the bottle in the fridge or freezer, but are perfect for keeping your wine cold as it sits out on the table or at a party.
