I typically love these Apple Chips. And the box that was sent to me had an expiration date of 3/2/18. (In comparison, a bag I purchased from the grocery store yesterday had an expiration date of 10/7/17.) I noticed that when we started to consume these that they seemed less crisp than they usually are. I thought it was just me. Heck, they seemed to be shipped from the manufacturer. But I just compared the crispness and texture to the ones I bought in the store. The verdict is that despite the expiration date, the chips I received for this order are stale! I'm very disappointed and would recommend not purchasing them through Amazon.

I recently fell in love with apple chips. I first tried them while out of town and then had trouble finding them when I got back home. So I went online and found a recipe. Even though they are super simple to make I still decided to give these a try.
I received them yesterday and ate 4 bags over the course of several hours.
Pros:
Each bag is 100 calories, so they are a perfect snack if you have any self control.
They are delicious with a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar. I bought the 60 bag size so they can be shared with my ladies group.
Cons:
They are sort of 'chewy" , like they needed to dry out just a little more. That is why they get only 4 stars.
Would I buy them again? Absolutely.

These are okay, probably won't buy them again as the kids' really have no interest in these. Flavor is there, but the texture is not quite like the old fashioned ones you used to pickup in the produce section of the grocery.

I usually love these apple chips. I often buy them at the grocery store but I go through the bags so quickly. So I decided to buy these smaller snack size bags for portion control! I was so disappointed when I opened them and they were stale! I expected a crunch when I bit into it but instead it was chewy and tough. I thought well maybe it was one bad bag so I tried a few more and they were all the same. The "best by" date is still valid until next year so the product is not old, per se.
