Got this for my mom and she loves it

It works, but it's a little cumbersome. It's tilted just a little too far back and I find myself adjusting it frequently. I don't like having to find a place to store it and then pulling it out to use - lately I've found it's not worth it and haven't been using it.
I think I will try keeping it next to me in bed and see if I use it more that way.

It is very much like what I was looking for and I am using it regularly for reading my large Spiritual Renewal Bible NIV version. It is paper back with 1378 pages plus Helps and Maps not numbered which would make it well over 1400 pages. It really helps me to read any book, because I am able to sit in my lift chair and have any book at eye level and distance needed. The pages turn easy; although I use care with the plastic page holder with the adjustable cord. I am 86 and thankful for The Book Seat.
A Little Too Laid Back!

This gets 3 stars for the idea, at least. It's angled too far backward to be much help on my lap. I keep my hand on it while reading or playing games, but I feel like I'm fighting to hold it up. Actually use an additional small pillow to help prop it upright. It would probably be great for someone who would be lying on their stomach; about a 30 degree angle would elevate a book or electronics to a useful sight line. At least it's easier to hold than my phone and Kindle since I have arthritic hands.

Im upset they jacked the price of these up because they became so popular but its supply and demand. I just hope it goes down and they make more so everyone can enjoy it. It seems like it should be priced at $30 - 35.

I added golf balls to mine using a paper clip to open the zipper. the extra weight helps keep it better in place. I also got the book clip for the top. Those two combined is great for paper books. I like that you can also use these with personal ebooks or iPads.
