no really, people stopped my husband all ski trip to ask about this one. and it kept his face comfy and cozy

AWESOME!
I bought it for the novelty for a multi-family ski trip, but now I wear it every time I go skiing. Tons of comments in line by people arguing each other whether it is a real beard or fake. I love it! Even the lift operators stop to check it out.

So what's the downside? They are minor but there are some.
1. Hand wash only
2. If it is really windy it can blow to the side a little. Never gets you cold, but flicks in your peripheral vision
3. Ices over from your breathing. I actually think this is the best look for the beard, but my wife thought it looked like I had ice buggers coming out of my nose LOL.

These are very minor negatives, and notice I give it 5-Stars! It works excellently as a face/neck warmer and it looks cool too.

This looks like kind of a gag gift but in actuality, works really well to protect you from the weather. It is longer so it works not only as a face mask but also somewhat as a scarf that can be put down inside a jacket or worn on the outside to keep a draft off your neck. The beardski is thin so it tends to lay flatter, while the furry fabric still keeps out the cold. The end of the beardski is lightly weighted which helps it hang down straighter making it more effective. There is a downward pointing opening for the nose which helps direct expelled air away from your glasses decreasing the likelihood of fogging your glasses and it has a filtered mouth opening to bring in air without dealing with the furry outer covering. The velcrow surface that attaches in back of the head to wear is large and makes a comfortable fit. This was a pleasant surprise that something that I purchased more for humorous effect, was actually very well thought out and has helped me face a few very arctic spells.

If you want to add some fun to your ski trips get you a couple of these! They even kept these guys pretty warm, but more for fun!

I was shopping for a replacement for my neoprene Gator brand mask when I stumbled over this slice of awesome. It's not for everybody, but if you look at inclement weather as a game and enjoy amusing yourself and others in the process, you simply have to have one of these. I'm not sure any article of clothing I've purchased has made me chuckle quite this much.

The quality is very good and it keeps you very warm. This morning's -2F wind chill... no problem at all. The mask quality itself is better and this design is far more comfortable to wear than the all neoprene Gator it replaced for me.

One thing I'll mention is that the beard doesn't seem quite as large as what's in the current product picture. The length is about 11" and it's about 9" wide on the one I received. This is good news as the one pictured is a bit... too much beard.

The looks you get walking to a white collar job in a downtown metropolitan city with this thing ... is worth the price of admission. Enjoy!
