The best thing about this product is that it will get to drain traps. But the nylon brush is so small and so weak and so non-substantial that it can't really clean anything. I would not recommend this product. I hope the company will put a more substantial, wider three-inch brush on the end of this.

Good in combination with InVade Biodrain Gel - clean the drain with this brush first (to clear out the drain flies mucus layer that covers the interior of the drain pipe), then the Biodrain Gel to knock out the flies (hopefully for good).
Cleaned these areas easily and eliminated our sink odor problem

Not bad. I was looking for something to unclog the drain pipe going from the dishwasher to the sink drain. Flexible as advertised, the coiled body maneuvered down and through the curved pipe with relative ease. It was almost too bendy as it made pushing with downward force a little tricky. If you don't push straight down, your force would make the brush bend instead of making it go down like you need it to.
The biggest knock I have is that it was too short. Like, tantalizingly close to being enough to push all the gunk all the way through, but not quite. If you added another inch or two, this drain brush would do the job and get five stars.
Simply put, you make me use my fingers to have to fish out the rest of that disgusting crud, you lose two stars. Yuck.

Got this as an alternative to repeatedly snaking a bathroom sink drain that gets gunked up with soap and hair. I found snaking to be only moderately successful. This seems to do a better job of getting that stuff through the trap and out of the tailpiece where the problem occurs. In my case I'd like it to be about 10 inches longer just so I could be more certain that the mess was getting into the vertical drain pipe in the wall and not accumulating just past the slip nut to require a future snake. Hasn't been a problem yet.
