Works great. Holds very well. Always put the screws back in the guide. Someone borrowed mine and left the screws in the router and they vibrated loose. Almost lost them. Also the two guide feet have holes in them for adding a piece of wood. This is great as it gives you a way to increase the length of the guide. This is very helpful when routing out past the end of your material to help keep the router from "dipping" into the woo and cutting too deep. Great little addition to a great router. From what I understand it fits the Porter Cable router as well.

CAUTION! Although this is a good, secure guide, the part that rides against the wood has a very sharp edge with a burr. After routing about 80 feet of cherry, I noticed a faint scratch running the length of my pieces. It took quite a bit of sanding to remove. Like so many of the Dewalt products lately, the design is excellent but the quality control is poor. It's sad to see a good company get sloppy in this regard. Overall, I think this is a good edge guide but make sure to file the sharp edge before you use it.

I've only had one chance to use this edge guide. It isn't nearly as robust and high-quality as ine you would find on a big 3-1/4 HP router. But for my DeWalt compact router it worked very nicely and I didn't have sore arms after 30 minutes of running a round-over bit around a bunch if table tops.
Must have accessory.

Screws that hold the guide to the base of the router have to continuously be retightened. I've forgotten a time or three and have mucked up an edge when it goes off true. Still a crucial tool for your Dewalt Palm router.

Bought this to use with my Dewalt DW618PK router. I give 3 stars because it looks like a sturdy tool and the design is clever (spot for screws to be stored ON the edge guide). But the models that this is compatible with aren't listed clearly, and although it seemed it would be compatible with my router, I can't find ANYWHERE that it would attach. Will return and purchase the Dewalt DW6913, although it is disappointing there isn't a less expensive option. Packaging does not include any instructions, and I can't find any supporting documentation on the web.
