The game is still so addicting, but the graphics are not great. Be mindful of the times we live in with HD and all. Overall, still fun and pretty awesome! I like the water park and animal park added in. It gives the game more depth than just rollercoasters. You can really build a real theme park and there is really no limit to how many people will show up.

I decided to write this review to clarify a few things that people may largely misunderstand.

First thing that I feel people need to know is that the online download for this game is a wonderful option. First off you can download it instantly and for game downloads Amazon says the following: "You can install [a game] an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately." So there is no real reason to own the disks. Your game remains in your amazon account forever and you can access it from any computer you want. Also the two expansion packs are downloaded instantly and pre-incorporated into the game so that saves some headaches if you aren't very good with computers.

Secondly, I have a windows 7 computer and it works wonderfully on my machine, although I know many people have been having problems running it on a similar system. But as I decided even if it wouldn't work on my computer I could still install it on other computers I use for free and play it on them so I figured I'd be fine.

Now about the game: I used to own Roller Coaster Tycoon Two and played it all the time. I am a college student and purchased this game because I was getting sick of all the first person shooter games played on campus. This game is a wonderful substitute and the graphics are ahead of it's time (that being 2005). You can pan around the screen very easily and change your angle at anytime. You can zoom in so close to people that they take up the whole screen and the graphics remain intact. The Soaked expansion pack is so fun, you can build pools at different levels and connect them with pool-walks and you have tons of options for water slides and the sort.

Ultimately this is an amazing game that is well worth the money and I feel that almost any age can understand it and enjoy it with little ease!

This game works really well on my Windows 10 computer, although it was a little slow; but it's not bad compared to some other games I've played. That surprised me because, it is an older game. Anyway, I would recommend it to anyone who likes creative games. It is fun, and I grew up playing this series. What I like best about this particular game is that, it allows the player to "ride" the rides using the peep's point of view cameras; which is a feature that wasn't included in the older Rollercoaster Tycoon games even though it should've been. It's also fun to design my own park guests (which appealed to me as a "Simmer"), as well as the theme parks; even though the options are a bit limited for the peeps. There are plenty of options for the rest of the game, though. The downsides are that, the paths are kind of difficult; and I haven't figured out how to zoom in and out yet. But, I'll probably get the hang of both those things in time.

A great game still today. I was curious as to whether or not this would work for Windows 8.1, but I decided to throw caution to the wind and bought it. It runs just as well as it did five years ago, yet still has a feel like it could have been released just yesterday! Graphics are what you'd expect from a 2000's game, but it's done in such a way that you can easily get past it. The ride cam is a huge innovation for this game, and it can give you a very good idea of how you can modify your ride to make it more appealing. Plus, the jump from 2D to 3D graphics can often be a very buggy experience for a certain game, but this game's transition was as smooth as butter. Plus, the two extra packs are just the icing on the cake, that special touch that turns a game into an experience. Plus, at twenty dollars, who can complain? EA would charge you $300 for all of the stupid add-ons, and that's without the base game! No, Atari is like Babe Ruth. They don't get a hit every time, but when they do, it's a home run.

Great multiple expansion game! Contains MULTIPLE game options. Can open an Amusement/Theme park, a Zoo/Safari park, or a water park!

Bought the CD/DISC version which you can download onto your computer. If using a laptop, just double check it has a DVD/CD port (rookie mistake). Not sure how the STEAM version fares, but the disc physical copy works for me, can download across multiple devices and just need the CD inserted to play.

Many gaming options, many tasks to accomplish and goals to meet. Completely customizable- can decorate enclosures and customize viewing area sizes. Animals can have babies as well! Fun for HOURS. Similar to the original rollercoaster tycoons, but different style of graphics.
