I have tried several brands of honey to find a really good one. you would think that honey is honey, but that is not the case. I couldn't find anything good locally, so I have ordered a couple from internet shopping. the very best honey is from The Capital Bee Company, but it is expensive. this brand here is very good and reasonably priced. I will be ordering it again.

Why change the gold cover top?

At first I thought that only 2 of the 6 jars (black pieces of plastic falling off when packing plastic removed) had broken/cracked black plastic tops.....but after careful examination each of the jars had cracks on the sides of the black top jar covers. It seems that the plastic used is not strong enough to withstand the shipping process. I wish that Breitsamer would return to the heavy plastic gold top cover. I've been ordering this honey for years and have never had a problem with the gold top cover. Please be aware that the honey, itself, is an excellent product. Breitsamer just needs to improve the top jar cover.
