Very Well Built--SOLID!
Buck•June 24, 2017
This is a very nice addition for my Table Saw's Router Wing. Easy to set up, very easy to use. My Craftsman router was not on the list, but the fit is solid. They do say that it fits most routers. With my old set up, I was becoming very frustrated because set up and small adjustments were almost impossible to make.
I have a cast iron wing, and it fit like a glove. I did not use the leveling screws included because the leveling screws for my wing work just fine.
I am a home user, and not in the carpentry trade. I am refacing all of the cabinets in my house, replacing the old doors with floating panel doors. Comparing this to my old, setup for routing rails and styles takes less than a minute. My old system was tedious and very hit or miss..
Mine was delivered from the East Coast, so if you live in California, be patient, as it is well worth the wait.

I just received the JessEm Mast-R-Lift II and am very impressed with the build quality and precision that has gone into this device. I also own the Kreg router lift that this lift will be replacing. The two most useful features for me are the adjustable router mounting brackets that allow you to install a wide number of different diameter routers without having to purchase a special adapter collar. In addition, the crank handle adjustment for height is light years ahead of the thumbwheel method of adjusting on the Kreg lift. On another note, some others have discussed whether this lift will fit in a Kreg router table. Mind you, there are two sizes of this lift and the one you need to purchase if you have a Kreg table is the 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" version. This size will fit perfectly within the Kreg table top. The other issue that has been raised is the fact that the corner mounting screws do not line up with the corner brackets in the Kreg table. I had called JessEm to get clarification about this and was told that with the weight of the router and the lift, that it wouldn't be going anywhere. So two things to this; (1) while the lift fits nicely within the Kreg table top, there is a very slight bit of tolerance that will allow some lateral movement. So in this regard I believe that being able to screw down the plate is beneficial. (2) JessEm no longer sells adapters that will allow you to retrofit the mounting corners since it might infringe on Kreg's design patent. The easy fix is this; remove the three screws holding each Kreg bracket to the undersurface of the table top...install the plate mounting screw into the bracket from above (realigning the bracket relative to the table top)...then proceed to reinstall the three bracket mounting screws from below (obviously in different holes since the bracket will now be moved slightly inward). Hope this helps. Great lift, you will not regret it.
I'm still excited about the functionality and the time it saves me

I love my lift!!! Well thought out design. Sturdy construction. OMG, I can now quickly change my bits from above the table in 1/5th the time!
There are center lines clearly marking the center of the bit which may sound petty but if you are trying to align the router fence parallel, you'll have a new found appreciation for the feature.
The ring comes out or locks securely in place in 1 second.
You can lock the height of the router.
Clearly marked dial to show you how much you are raising or lowering the router. Fine adjustments (fifteen thousandths of an inch at a time).
This model takes the smaller and the larger diameter routers... Note: you remove the base from the router instead of mounting the router base to the plate.
Word of advice; purchase the ring set when you buy the lift because there is only one in with the lift and it's rather large for most routing. I would also advise buying the router plate lift and a template if you happen to be making your own table top.
