"Strike anywhere"... Good luck with that.

These are "strike anywhere" matches, but good luck with that. I haven't found a single surface (besides the striking surface on the matchbox) that will light these matches.
And the striking surfaces on the matchbox wear out before you've used even 1/4 of the matches in the box. I've worn out the striking surfaces on all 3 boxes of matches and I haven't even used all the matches in one box yet.
Not thrilled.

Horrible and dangerous!!
These matches are thin and flimsy and so many break off lit when striking!
The tips also do not have much material so you have to strike them repeatedly...
As cheap as it gets Avoid!

Complete junk. The strike on box matches light 99% of the time after the first strike. These maybe after the 5th or 6th strike if you're lucky and don't even waste your time trying another surface.
These will light on ANYTHING!

So cool. These strike on any surface smooth or rough. I can easily strike them on my teeth and fingernail. They light easily and have a great flame just like all Diamond matches. I went through half a box just finding different things to light them on. Zippers, counter, pants, my friends rough hand, rubber tire, sink and any other place you can think of.
and they are by far the best deodorizer out there

strike anywhere should say strike any rough surface. We go through a box of these in a month in our bathroom. thats a lot of poops. and they are by far the best deodorizer out there. none of that smelly spray stuff that doesn't work. sometimes two matches are needed but thats just another thing to brag about around here.
