Now, I have never worn this kind of string tie, because I am not the Western or Country kind of girl. We are having a "Saddle Up!" concert with my band, and we will wear the right kind of clothing for that event. So, this will be great to sport for the occasion. I have a feeling I'll want to try wearing this occasionally, and I'll find an excuse to do so! It is truly very professionally done, I cannot think of a better quality make! The leather braids are nicely round and very smooth, the length is great: the very ornate silver tips come all the way to my belt line (hips, not waist). I don't know if that is a good thing, but I like it. I'm glad I found this!
