I did not find it on the product page, but be aware this saw is made in China. Also, the saw delivered is black not green. The saw shown is not a 16; most likely a 21. I still seems to be a much better saw than my previous Sears and Delta saws. Vibration is low but it is still noticeable. I am not sure about the plastic shroud below the table. There is nothing in the manual about it but it makes feeding a blade through the wood and table difficult. I assume when the hole wears larger, it will be o.k. I am not happy with the scratches on the table surface.
Later I found that there was a ding on the front edge of the table that was scratching my projects. It had to be filed down. Since the table is painted, it now looks terrible. The plastic below table prevents small internal cut outs from falling through. This restricts wood movement. The shroud must go. The dust collection works ok. but the input air flow is limited, putting a strain on the vacuum. I should say something good. After mounting it to a table there is almost no vibration. The tilting head is great as I do a lot of angled cuts.

Years ago I owned an "RBI" scroll saw and it was top notch. This Excalibur saw is on the same plane as far as I can tell. The Excalibur has features that are great. The stationary table and the tilting arm are fantastic. The blade change ability is second to none and the general quality is just great. I feel this machine will last me a long time. I would recommend this machine to anyone that is interested in precision work. The smooth operation and lack of vibration is just one of its many virtues. I can't say enough for this machine. The one thing that sums up my feelings on this saw is that I'm proud to own it.
and I love it. It was great out of the box

I have had this saw for about a month now, and I love it. It was great out of the box, nothing was broken or missing. An extra bonus was Wood Craft's shipping. I ordered the saw on Monday, and it was delivered on Thursday. I had spent quite a lot of time researching a new scroll saw. I was also looking at the Dewalt and the Delta. While I could have either of those in the 20 inch for a little less money, I decided to spend the extra money on the Excalibur and I am glad I did. I had pretty much decided on the Excalibur, and while I am not always sure I like the folks at my local Wood Craft store, I asked them if they could compare the Excalibur, which they did not have on the floor, to the Dewalt which they did have on the floor. They did not try to sell me the Dewalt. One of the guys could only say, "They both cut wood". I took that as a good endorsement for the Excalibur. I don't want to knock the Dewalt because I have never used it and I figure that it is a capable saw; however, I am completely happy with my purchase, and If I had to do it all over again, I would do it the exact same way. Extra added bonus.... Excalibur is a cooler name than Delta or Dewalt.
