A Bit Disappointing

When I opened the bottle, the oil smelled of roasted peanuts. I was hoping for an oil that would impart a roasted peanut flavor to stir fries, noodles, etc. Unfortunately, I could not TASTE the roasted peanut flavor when cooking with it. Perhaps if you use it as a finishing oil you might get the flavor, but I could not detect it when using it in cooking. It is quite expensive, so I will use instead a toasted sesame oil which has a great deal of flavor when used as a finishing oil.

The roasted peanut flavor is outstanding. Perfect for Asian cooking. I infuse with spices and citrus for marinating beef, chicken and seafoods before grilling over flames. Yum.
