Cables work well. A huge winter in California. We hadn't needed them ever before (maybe once), but this winter used them twice just to be on the safe side driving through blizzards. They really make one feel a lot safer. Easy to put on and adjust. No need to roll car back and forth like we had to with chains in the good old days

Haven't been able to try them in the snow as of yet, but thus far, was able to easily put them on and take them off. You do have to make sure that you use the tire chain adjuster with the changes so that they stay snug on your tires. They fit on my Jeep. They are don't look as "beefy" as some of the other chains, but maybe they will still be fine.

These worked great on my 2008 Honda Odyssey. Got them the week before we went up to Tahoe and went up in a great big snow storm. They were no harder to put on than any chains would be out in a snowstorm, and gave plenty of traction. I did get a basic set of chain tighteners to go with them.
