I use a safety razor and it allows the blades to really touch my skin, so i get cuts often. It is really great at stopping the blood flow, even from real gushers.

For whatever reason, styptic has become hard to find in central Ohio, and the larger 1-ounce size is impossible to locate. My husband has used the Clubman Pinaud styptic for years and I was happy to find it on Amazon. He was tickled with his box of 12, and it should last him for many years. The price is fair and it's much simpler to order than spend the time running from store to store, only to be disappointed. Thanks, Amazon for coming through once again!
Great Styptic; just works

Despite trying alum, and other gels and creams, this basic styptic just plain consistently works. Period.
I am a wet shaver for over 25 years, and the occasional nick or weeper happens, but styptic always works.
