Great for special occasions! As long as you hand wash and rinse in hot water, this beautiful flatware will elevate your nice family occasions to a new level. Also I could not believe the number of pieces I got for the price!!!!! The hostess set is gorgeous and SO classy. This is a set I will treasure and pass on to my daughter when I'm 90. ;-)

Looked beautiful when first set, but as the party ended late, didn't wash them till the next day. I guess the finish reacted to the food and there was a lot of dark residue, especially between tines of the forks..very hard to remove.
