It's a 1/2" chuck with a MT2 taper. Nothing really special about it. Smooth jaw operation and locks in the taper nicely. I'd buy again if I needed to. Comes with a key.

Set this up on my lathe and a 2 1/8 forstner bit. Held up to white-oak end grain. My only gripe is that I didn't get a smaller one to go further into my pieces

Liked it at first. After using twice, it was trash. The chuck would not stay wedged onto taper. I cleaned with acetone: didn't work, scuffed with scotchbrite; didn't work, and even more abrasive papers and nothing would help the chuck stay on the arbor. The taper did however get stuck in the lathes headstock. A better quality taper is required for this tool to be useful.
