looks good. Heavier duty material and zippers
David✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 11, 2017
Just go this a week ago. So far, looks good. Heavier duty material and zippers. I consolidated from a larger pack, everything fits more snuggly, but it fits. For those asking about computers, I suppose it is possible with an ipad, but larger than that would be tight. Carrying is very comfortable, especially since I never used the two straps on my previous pack. This is made for one strap carry. I'll check in after a while to pass on updates.
More Great Stuff From VTAC

Awesome equipment, as usual. Lots of compartments to put stuff made with quality material & zippers. Especially like the CCW Pouch. My one and only gig is that neither the Comm Pouch nor the Eyeware Pouch are large enough to accommodate my iPhone 6S Plus. Overall a very nice day carry bag.
UPDATE, Day 1: Thinking I would need their Tier System straps to connect this bag to a larger one, I went ahead and spent the $17.47. However, unzipping the Moab 10's Hydration Pouch, what do I find? - a bagged set of Tier System straps! Don't need 8, so the ordered set will be returned.
Awesome pack! Very slim and form fitting

Awesome pack! Very slim and form fitting.
I actually use this as my EDC, and carry a decent amount of gear within.
The only thing I have yet to figure out is how to properly run with this bag on. I will usually just reach back and hold it against my stern, but still get a degree of hard bounce from it.
Otherwise, love the bag. It fits comfortably, and is padded enough to not wear on the back or shoulders. There is a ton of pockets on the front and sides, and inside the main pouch. The quality is great, with superior stitching forming around the bag, and holding it together tightly. I have had no fraying or loose stitches, after carrying for a good six months.

First off, I want to commend the company for helping with a post office issue that came about when the post office, for some reason, didn't deliver the package correctly. They have first rate customers service and will do their best to help remedy any problems that come about during an order.

As to the bag, I think it rides along the border between tactical looking and the "grey man" look (I got double tap color, but I think if you got a different color it'll look more tactical), with my bag falling into the gray man appearance zone. It looks and feels like a high quality product. It'll be functioning as an in-between as my EDC/get-home-bag, and I think it's the perfect size for an urban environment or for a day hike activity. I plan on adding some attachments (like a water bottle holder) and some patches, so it'll be a fun, customization project in the near future to add to an already awesome bag. Only thing I could see a problem with is if you over pack the bag it may eventually cause your shoulder to become tired. Solution? Don't over pack it.
Great pack but maybe not the best for pack rats on long hikes

This is a very durable, very capable, and very convenient pack. It does what it claims to do and does it to a highly commendable standard.

My only gripe is more due to me and how I use packs, not a flaw of the pack itself. The Rush 10 is big enough to load up beyond what I find comfortable for a single strap pack for any long distance haul. If you add molle pouches, this can start reaching capacity and weight of a full on ruck sack. At that point, as padded as it may be, still puts all the weight on one shoulder.

If you like single strap packs, I'd bet you'd be hard pressed to find a better pack. But if you, like me, cannot find the discipline to not bring everything and the kitchen sink, you may find the pack will hold the load fine and your single shoulder will not.
