Using this to track my budget. It is compact and is smaller than you think after looking at the picture. The pages are well laid out and its obvious Dome has used its years of experience in the ledger book market to distill the design to just what you need. I think the price is also excellent for what you get. I would recommend this to anyone who really wants to understand where the money goes. Also useful at tax time.

An old standby that is great for college students and newly married. We used this for the first ten years of marriage beginning in 1982 and finally switched to Quicken when our finances became more complex. That said, I still miss the simplicity and straightforward ease of use-- including NO Upgrades or lost "data." I highly recommend this product! It is also filled with useful and practical information for those who are just learning to make "spending plans."

This is a fine entry level budget book for keeping routine family income and expenses. Extremely easy to understand and simple to use. Not meant for business uses. If you are computer conversant the same can easily be done with a spreadsheet. This is really meant for those that either don't have computer skills or just want something quick and fast to keep their records.

Wish it would have come with better instructions instead of just the sample page. It took me a while to figure out what all the numbers across the top meant (which are the days of the month, for those who are like me and just didn't get it at first. Yes, I know it says simplified. LoL)
